Indie Infographic | Print (2014)
This piece was the result of a project assigned in my Visual Communications III class. We were asked to create an infographic over whatever we wanted and however we wanted - it was very open ended!
I decided to create an infographic about the different subgenres of "indie" music because I have a lot of interest in it. After some thinking, I decided to divide popular "indie" bands into separate categories including: rock, folk, instrumental, punk, pop, electronica, hip-hop, and "stoner". It was a lot of fun to listen to bands and try to decide which subgenre they fit into!
